Notice of Proposed Private Sale of Immovable Succession Property

Notice is hereby given to all heirs, legatees, creditos and all other persons that Joise Lewis, the duly appointed and qualified succession representative of this estate, has petitioned the Court for authority to sell certain immovable belonging to this estate at private sale for cash.

An undivided one-half interest in the following described property:

A certain tract or parcel of land being a portion of Lot 1 A of a subdivision of a portion of Section 12, Township 7 South, Range 7 East and Section 7, Township 7 South, Range 8 East, by C.M. Moore, C. E. & Surveyor, dated June 5, 1939, more particularly described as follows, to-wit: commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 1 A, proceed thence East 546.2 feet for a point of beginning; thence East 74 feet; thence South 295.68 feet; thence West 74 feet; thence North 295.68 feet to the point of beginning. All as per survey by A. J. Zabbia, C. E. & Surveyor, dated Aug. 28, 1965, a copy of which is filed for record; said property being in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. Being the same property acquired by James Lewis and Joise Mae Pierre Lewis by deed recorded at COB 317 page 118 of the records of Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.

Any opposition to the proposed sale must be filed within seven (7) days from the date of the last publication of this notice.
