Diane Deaton from Channel 9 News came to Amite Elementary School Magnet yesterday to interview Mrs. India Binner, Communication Specialist, in the Broadcast Studio.
Once a year they pick different parishes in Louisiana to visit and showcase what that parish/town has to offer. This year they decided to come back to Tangipahoa Parish but to a different town (last year they went to Tickfaw).
They will be in Amite on Friday May 18th from 5AM-7AM. They will be filming between the Police Station and the Boston Restaurant. The morning of the 18th, WAFB will air different stories about Amite. The footage from Amite Elementary Magnet School will air during this time.
