An investigation conducted by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office has lead to the arrest of:



Randolph S. Ard

54408 Easley Road

Loranger, Louisiana

White / Male; DOB: 10/19/55



Arrested: Friday - 08/06/10

Charges: Pornography involving juveniles, Indecent behavior with juveniles and molestation. Additional charges are pending.



In the early morning hours of Friday, August 6, 2010, Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office detectives assisted by the TPSO Special Response Team entered the Ard residence to execute a search warrant and arrest Randolph S. Ard. The warrants were issued after an investigation revealed that Ard had engaged in inappropriate behavior with underage children.



Detective's search of the residence revealed the presence of images of children engaged in sexual activity. Detectives seized evidence from the residence which included electronic equipment which will be forensically examined at a later date. Ard was transported to the Tangipahoa Parish Jail.
