At approximately 8:00 a.m this morning a two vehicle car accident occurred at the stop light in front of Wal-Mart in Amite. On scene was Tangipahoa Parish Fire Department District #1, Louisiana State Police Troop L, Amite City Police and Acadian Ambulance. No one appeared to be hurt and all persons involved in the accident sustained only minor injuries. More information on the accident will be updated as it becomes available.
