Congratulations to Rachel Jason of Ponchatoula and Scott Ginrintano of Baton Rouge on their May 5 wedding nuptials at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula, in a 2 p.m. ceremony. Rachel is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jason of Ponchatoual, the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Jackson of Grangeville, the late Mr. and Mrs. John Jason. Also, wedding congrats to Jill Kennedy of Clinton and Dr. Larry Ferachi, Jr., of Baton Rouge, who'll wed June 16 at Rosemary Beach, Fla.

On "American Idol", the guy I"m for is from Louisiana. I"m not sure what part he's from. Seems like it's Raceland. His name is Joseph Ledet and he sure can sing! On "Dancing With the Stars", I"m for Jaleel White (Aka Steve Urkel). Come on, Jaleel!
Right on for learning new challenges, St. Helena 4-H'ers! They attended Youth Challenge Camp at Tickfaw State Park, Nov. 15 in Springfield.

Seeking wisdom takes great effort and the Scriptures tells us where it can be found: "For the Lord gives wisdom: from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding." He isn't storing up wisdom for himself; "He stores up sound wisdom for the upright" (Prov. 2:6-7). God is the source of all wisdom for your life. So seek Him with all your heart. You can acquire much knowledge, but true wisdom comes only from God!
