Deputy arrests sex offender fugitive Mobley at Amite residence

AMITE – Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports that on May 30, the U.S. Marshal Services contacted the sheriff’s office regarding wanted sex offender Willie Mobley (age 42) who was a fugitive out of Long Beach, CA with a $1,000,000 bond.

TPSO Detective Rick Reynolds responded to Mobley's known residence located at 11300 Ardillo Lane in Amite on four occasions yet he was unable to make contact with Mobley.

On June 4, a deputy made positive contact with Mobley at this residence.

Mobley was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
