AMITE--Bond-Wroten Eye Clinic is proud to welcome Dr.Nguyen to their team. Dr. Nguyen will begin seeing patients on September 4 at all three Bond-Wroten Eye Clinic locations.

Monica P. Nguyen, O.D., a native of Houston, Texas, was raised in Baton Rouge. Dr. Nguyen is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she earned a degree in Biological Sciences.

Dr. Nguyen received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Student Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society.

Her clinical experience included rotations to Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma where she was trained in the latest laser procedures for refractive and glaucoma care.

Dr. Nguyen has also received clinical training in ocular disease, low vision, pediatrics, traumatic brain injury, and dry eye care.

Her specific area of interest lies in the field of cornea and contact lenses, with an emphasis in fitting scleral lenses on patients with corneal ectasia and post surgical corneal grafts.

Bond-Wroten Eye Clinic has office locations in Amite, Denham Springs and Hammond.
