Judge Wolfe sentences 3 from Tickfaw, Hammond, Livingston

LIVINGSTON--District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on July 30, before Judge Elizabeth Wolfe and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

Chaz Blades, 22, of Tickfaw, pleaded no contest to Simple Burglary. Sentencing is scheduled for August 22, 2012.

Lacey Hortman, 22, of Hammond, pleaded no contest to Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling. She was sentenced to one year in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and Hortman was placed on one year of probation. She must also pay a $100.00 fine, court costs, and restitution.

Jeremy Varner, 38, of Livingston, pleaded no contest to Possession of Schedule II Drugs, and Possession of Marijuana. He was sentenced to three years with the department of corrections for the first offense, and 10 days in the parish jail for the second. The sentence was suspended and Varner must pay a $100.00 fine and court costs.
