Your Song Can Return
Solomon’s poetic portrayal of spring is about to be reenacted: “The winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land” (Song of Solomon 2:11-12).
Spring is an annual celebration of creation and resurrection. And at this time of the year all nature joins in saying: “God is alive so no matter how dark and cold it gets the sun will soon break through the clouds announcing the arrival of spring.”
