Clemons, the owner of Central Station Sports Bar, applied for her license to sell alcohol at her establishment in July and had her application added to the city council’s agenda in August. Mayor Buddy Bel added Clemons’ application to his agenda during the September meeting, bringing it back up for discussion.
Clemons stated that she received state approval and needed the city council to approve so she could move forward.
