Community gives input on recovery projects
The Florida Parishes Arena hosted a Community Recovery Open House sponsored by FEMA on Thursday, August 10. Following the 2016 floods in March and August, residents of Southeast Louisiana faced the long road to rebuilding, recovering and preparing for the future.
The Community Recovery Open House served as an opportunity for Tangipahoa Parish residents, whether they flooded in 2016 or not, to share their opinion on planned projects and ideas that could help the parish recover and prepare for future floodrelated issues.
