Boy Scouts give back to Tangi Fair Grounds
The Tangipahoa Parish Fairgrounds will lie dormant this autumn, as they will not host the parish fair in 2017 due to the grounds requiring many necessary repairs. Seventeen-year-old Levi Colvin, a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 340 recently gave his time to help with some of those repairs. Colvin is currently working towards earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
On Saturday, August 5, Colvin, his father Jay, Ethan Warner, and Nathaniel Sanchez arrived on the fairgrounds to repaint the display tables in the 4-H poultry house.
