Brumfield named Humanitarian of the Year

Julia Holden McKnight Brumfield is a native of Kentwood in Tangipahoa Parish. She has been named as Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian of the Year by the Eunice Paddio-Johnson Foundation, Inc. of Greensburg. She is the seventh of eight children. Her parent, Ceolina Addison Holden, and Fred Holden are deceased. Julia is an achiever.

The first one in her family to achieve a formal education, having attended Grambling State University and Southeastern Louisiana University. She is a graduate of Liberty University. Her interest has been to help people achieve their potential or goals in life.
