Judge Burrell Carter honored by Louisiana State Bar Association
Judge Burrell Carter was honored by the Louisiana State Bar Association at its midyear meeting held in Baton Rouge on January 18-20. Judge Carter was admitted to practice law in 1958 which makes this his 60th year. It is a tradition of the Association to recognize and honor the 60 year members at a reception during the midyear meeting.
The honorees were individually recognized for their service along with a photo opportunity with a Supreme Court Justice and also a group photograph. Other participants of the reception included members of the Board of Governors, the House of Delegates as well as chairpersons of the Louisiana State Bar Association committees and sections and representatives of the state’s local and specialty bars. Congratulations Judge Carter from the St. Helena Echo and thank you for your service to the citizens of St. Helena and the State of Louisiana
