From This Side Of The Road

I am nothing more than an observer of the human condition with a platform on which to write about it, and right now I need to write about why humans can’t be more forgiving of one another. Why am I observing that humanity seems to hold grudges like they are pieces of birthday cake we’re not going to share?

Well, aside from the fact that revenge is socially and neurologically built into our psyches, and that we got it from our ancient ancestors, it is something we seem quite happy with. Or at least we don’t appear to do much work to counter-act our vindictive natures.
