Roos expected to return to Dome with 13 starters

KENTWOOD – When you have won eight state titles in football anything less just doesn’t add up. “It’s the standard at Kentwood. There is a lot of pride and tradition here. The players know what is expected of them and they use that as motivation.”

Roos Coach Jonathan Foster III embraces those expectations and he is looking to guide the Roos back to the 1A title game for a third straight season this fall. The Roos fell in the 1A title game last season to West St. John. “We have a strong group of starters back this season. With another tough schedule and a competitive district we know that staying healthy and building depth throughout the season will be in our trying to get back to the dome.”

13 starters are back for the Roos entering the 2018 season with seven players back on offense. LSU Commitment Trey Palmer leads a stout Kentwood offense. Joining Palmer on offense are returning starters Larry Carter, Radarrian Robbins, Edward Magee, Kendall Wilkinson.
